Greetings all! I'm just a lowly scanner calmly scouting the forums for resistance members, and Gordon Freeman! I'm hot off of the Combine Citadel production line and await further instructions! I've played and completed the Original Half-Life years ago and still a HL fan! Sadly, much to many of you will be suprised, I've never had a chance to play Blue-Shift or opposing force before. I would like to know how I could get my hands on them though. It was before my time as a PC gamer as I didn't have a PC capable of running those two installments yet. I played the original HL on the PS2, which was the only port that contained the installment HL Decay. Good to know you all and I'm glad I found this site as I have many unanswered questions about the HL universe!

cheers,
Saturos

Lo.

I believe you can purchase Blue Shift and Opposing Force through the Steam store.

Yah, but I'm kinda hoping I can find a legal copy of either of those two that were developed before Steam was introduced. But a friend told me that would be impossible nowadays with the advent of Steam.:hmph:

Welcome to the forums, Saturos.

If you're looking for Blue Shift and Opposing Force as physical copies, on CD, there's a Half-Life platinum pack that contains them. If you want BS and OpFor in their original boxes, that's a little harder...try ebay, or look through bargain bins at local game stores. Ebay's probably the better option.

"Welcome! Welcome to...the forums. You have chosen to...or been chosen to relocate to one of the best Half-life related forums."

"I've thought so much of these forums...that i have elected to create an account here, with the options so thoughtfully provided by our...webmasters. I've been proud to call these forums my favourite."

"Welcome!...To these forums...it's cooler here."

Thanks for the quick response fellas.;)

Darkside55:Even the HL Platinum packs are becoming harder to find these days. As soon as I'm able and can find one of these, I'm gonna get it. Downloading games from Steam is all fine and dandy, but I'd rather have a hard copy myself, rather than making backup discs. Besides, I know too many folks who have had trouble downloading entire games from Steam other than the Half-Life 2 series and CS-S.

Dr. Kevin:Thanks for the introduction! Or are you just a pre-programmed vid-com that greets all new re-located citizens?:)

So the Anthology has the original HL, OP4 and BlueShift?

TF2 is getting weird though.

TFc looked sorta serious.
But TF2 is really cartoonish with that character design.

So your saying TF 2 is as cartoonish Source can get?
