Help - can't set bombs!

Hi folks, I would be eternally grateful if anyone can help me...
In CS:S, whether playing regular Terrorist or Zombie, I cannot plant bombs!
As soon as I select the bomb, whether I am in the bomb zone or not, it flashes in my hands for a split second but instantly becomes my previous weapon again.

This is sooooo annoying. Am I doing something wrong? I don't claim for a minute to be an expert, and will happily accept it if I am missing something...

Someone might have messed with your config settings. Binded your 5 key to switch back to your primary weapon.

Try deleting your config.cfg file in your Cstrike/cfg folder. You'll have to re-bind all your controls if you changed them, but it shouldn't take long.

EDIT: but you can check for this by seeing what happens when you switch to your bomb with your scroll wheel instead.

ROFLMAO, this zombie thingy reminds me of the server i join yesterday. I never really go take notice of the name of the map they playing but it is a korean server since all words is in korean. Kinda creepy and funky, there were string of stars flying all over, funny sounds effect like those in Starwar. I suddenly feel like it is no longer CS:S for that very moment. :cheers:

Zombie servers are where one or two people start off as "zombies" who have, like, 5000HP. The rest of the server tries to kill the zombies. If the zombie hits a soldier, he becomes a zombie. Might not sound too thrilling in text, but it's really fun.
