Help Error Help!

Help my sdk was working fine about 2hours ago. i went off to watch some good tv then came back...

Went to open SDK and it said this...

MountFilesystem( 206 ) failed: SteamMountFilesystem(2264,206,0x45fbfc=,0x4b5fd0c) failed with error 116: Cache needs repair


That is what it says!!! ARGH help?

do a search, two others just had this and fixed it by uninstalling and removing all SDK related files

how do i uninstall the sdk from steam and re-install hehe sorry i know a nood question on that but still.

also this wound mean i have to redo my level im making again will it? i can put it all back (just wondering if that is the reason?)

Also HL2 itself is doing an update *validating files* so maybe that is why the sdk isn't working untill that is done?

it was only because hl2 *ITSELF* was validating new steam files!

it didn't need a re-install..

if any of u get an error like this in the future.. what you do is try to run hl2 and u "SHOULD" see that hl2 is updating
