First off Id like to say this is a retail game with legit cd-fey ect. I have done several reinstalls of halflife 2 (which takes a century at a time) and I still keep having this weird issue. When I walk or jump I actually move slower then I used to. My frames per sec are great, My hardware is as followed: p4 3.6 1 gig pc4000 ram and a bfg 6800gt video card. Not only do I walk slower My machine gun shoots slower, and this is a constant speed not a eratic speed differance as if I had FPS issues. My beliefe is that its stuck in my registry some where, cause every time I reinstall it already knows waht my old settings were. If any one has heard of this or knows what to take out of my registry with out screwing my O.S. please respond to this. Thanks for your time.
