Help in Chapter 12 Follow Freeman

ive defeated all the striders around the main building. Now im in the tunnel and a Strider comes crasing through the wall behind be. SO, I soot it w/ 3 rockets, its now smoking and not dead. I used up all my amunition in all my guns trying to kill it. Is there something i missed? HE WONT DIE... LOL

Just finished that part, you jave to run down the tunnel to the end and make a left into the hole in the wall.

so you dont need to kill it?

I don't think you can, it harasses you as you climb all around the building you ran into. You have to make it to the very top and climb on some beams, all the while avoiding the strider.
