I was wondering what the word was for a child who was conceived from an unmarried couple.
Its been bugging me
(Please don't turn this in some big political debate, I'm just looking for a simple word)
 
aren't they called "bastards"... no seriously, aren't they? or is that a child that comes from an affair?
 
I thought that was what you call a child who was conceived without a mother.
 
There was a poster in a South Park episode that said this:

IF YOU DON'T HAVE A DAD, YOU'RE A BASTARD

Zero Point Gun, people are generally conceived with mothers last time I checked, as the word "bastard" has been around for ages, and we have not always had artificial insemination.

Being conceived would be when the sperm contacts the egg.

Last time I checked, you need a mother for that, unless you're a clone. Go be a retard somewhere else

Bull you are incredibly stupid for my mind is far superior to your insignificant one. You do not need a mother to be born, all you need is the eggs correct? Therefore it is possible to be born without a mother (Test tube baby they are sometimes known as). A women who is infertile can still have a baby. (By having a surrogate mother) So why can't a child be born without a mother?

Maybe if you took the time to read what I said you'd understand.

the term bastard has been around way before test tube babies or artificial insemination. So evidently, no, a bastard is not someone who is born without a mother. Use some common sense

uh, how do I fail?

The word bastard, here, sound it out sweet cheeks Basss-tar-d, has been around for ages, that means a long time by the way.

Now if you took some history classes, you'd know that artificial insemination (test tube babies) was not used until a few decades ago.

So the term bastard does not mean someone who is conceived without a mother.

Think about that, that would mean attack of the clones could have just as easily been called Attack of The Bastards (that movie probably deserves that title anyways)

I do not care whether or not artificial insemination/test tube babies is a term on used within the last few decades. I am using that term. They mean the same thing (In the post I said anyway). I realize that I was actually talking about a child born with no father but initially I thought it was without a mother.

So let me lay it out for you.

I said "Doesn't it mean child born with no mother"
(It means with no father but I wasn't sure so I put it as question)

I meant to say "Doesn't it mean child born with no father"
(I was not sure, at the time, to put father)

So what I was trying to get at is...

Isn't that term used to describe a child born without a father.
 
But you never said that in the first place, hence the massive fail.

Thats only vice versa, it's exactly the same idea.

And you said "conceived", born and conceived are two different things. Don't use big words when you don't know what they mean.

btw, bastard definition-
1. a person born of unmarried parents; an illegitimate child.

no where does it say "conceived" without a mother, or father. No where does it say "born" without a mother or father.

Maybe you should stop making up your own definitions, and stop reading about how Jesus was conceived without a father -_O
 
I know what conceived means. You can be conceived without a mother present too, in case you hadn't noticed. Hence your failure.

At Bull - Oh gee your so smart you can't even spell argument properly. I know what all of those words mean and I know your term has been around a long time. I was trying to say that doesn't it mean a child born with no father. Instead I put mother because I was not sure. I am aware I put conceived and it should've been born but alas it doesn't matter because you can be both born and conceived with no father or mother. Therefore I win, you lose.
 
My original answer was to be that term but instead I googled and found the term "Non-marital" as compared to it's predecessor "Illegitimate". That is the official term one would use for a baby conceived of unmarried parents.
 
I've heard enough about babies. I want to hear more about tentacle vaginas.
 
You should only like tentacle vaginas when the tentacle is going INSIDE the vagina, not out of it.
