Jesus christ. I hate routers. They drive me insane. D:

I'm trying to figure out a way to increase my download speed in Bittorrent from a measley 10k/s. PortForwading.com is about as useful as a dead donkey. I'm using a D-Link DSL-G624T so if anybody has this kind of router please feel free to offer me help.

For my DLink I have to goto the interface through ie. Then after I gain control to my router's options you have to look for ip forwarding / ip pass through controls/ firewall settings. There is bound to be something there where you can open ports. If I don't help too much, just google how to get your router interface through ie... and keep playing around you are bound to find.

Why doesn't portforwarding.com help? It has your model and 'Bittorrent' listed.

The router menus different from what they show?

Nope. Firefox just doesn't work with it. I go to add a port rule like it says in the guide then the same page reloads and the rule isn't there. :|

I can't. I just installed it but it doesn't...exist. It's nowhere on the start menu.

Thanks for that but I still can't add a user rule. :(

Help me steal games / software with bittorrent more easily.
Fixed.

That's pretty much what you meant anyway, right?

And please don't try the old "bittorrent isn't illegal, it's what you share / download" argument. We all know you are not trying to setup your BT and ports to download Linux over and over.
