1200 pounds is a pretty large budget, you should be able to get everything you listed. Dont know a site though, since I'm not british.

Anyway, you forgot the most important piece of them all: The motherboard. The parts are just plastic shite without it :)
Be sure to get a good one... Nforce 2 based of course. Do you have a good soundcard already (if you arent bothered with it)? Otherwise, be sure to get a Nforce 2 with SoundStorm audio. Its not much more expensive than a regular mobo anyway.

edit - whoopsie only just read that you arent building it

hey dude you can use a credit card to buy the individual pieces..

here is a link for a UK based company on th south coast (i use them regularly, and recommend them to friends and family)

http://www.novatech.co.uk

they have a thing called blueprint custom pcs... you can make the exact same pc you specify there...

the only thing is they dont have the 9800 pro on there in the blueprint but imnsure you can call them and ask them to put it in on ur blueprint pc...

i got a grand total of 1,129

i had to put a 5900 in its place to find out a price for you (remeber all that will be different is ur gfx card...) because they dont show the 9800pro on the blueprint but u can buy it from them i believe...

Sounds nice, except I would reconsider on that graphics card... You had a £1200 budget, that is 1150, I'm sure you can squeeze in a 9800 Pro there. Trust me, you'll be gratefull buying that when HL2 comes instead of the G4 :)

dont forget your OS, unless you all ready have one. thats one major (and expensive) part of you comp.

Dont pay for the OS, suh a rip off, borrow it from a friend.
Why cant you put the individual peices on a Credit Card?
Dont go with a GeForce4 with that budget, get a DX 9 card, you could afford a 9800Pro if you downgraded some other stuff, it will be worth it.
Maybe take the DVD burner off?

OK OK!! I KNOW I WANT AN ATI CARD BUT THE WEBSITE DOESNT HAVE ANY SO I JUST PUT THAT IN INSTEAD!! AND I CAN GET A OS FROM A FRIEND,ALSO I CANT BUY PIECES SEPRET BECAUSE I DONT KNOW HOW TO BULID A PC AND I DONT KNOW ANY ONE WHO CAN!!

Its pretty easy

The CPU connects to the...mobo
The mobo connects to the case-o

and so forth and so on.

building a comp is easy, it's basically knowing where to plug things in and turning it on

it would be much cheaper to buy all the stuff and put it all on the credit card, www.newegg.com is probably the best site around to order your stuff from

if you have any trouble building it, you can just post here and we'd be happy to help you

Or we'll just screw you over and laugh at you as you struggle to uncover the definition of BIOS.

AHAHHAHHA

but if you dont know what you are doing when building one, there is of course the possibillity that it may break...but it's WAY cheeaper to build it yourself from seperate parts...

Your gonna need more then a 300W PSU for all that. I reccommend 400 or higher.

I dion't think you'll be able to get that 19" flatscreen. At least not if you intent to play games. Just check out http://www.pricewatch.co.uk/. Look for the cheapest store and get all your stuff there.

I'll need an new computer for halflife 2 too, bu im danish, and im wondering, is it safe enough for me, to buy from other nations ? for example http://www.novatech.co.uk/ ? Be cause, it's pretty cheap there ;)
