I had a very similar problem when I installed Shogo: MAD, it completely screwed my XP up, I uninstalled it, killed the registry settings and reinstalled my graphics card drivers and all was well

He already said yes; however now he's saying they're not always there on bootup (I'd assume after his computer has been off). It definitely sounds like your card is overheating, try opening your case and blowing a fan into it or getting a PCI slot fan, or some extra case fansRandomPING said:How about while it boots up, are there ever any problems there? Like when it does the ram check and the stuff like that?

As soon as this crap covered my screen, i put a fan down there, and it cleared it up within 25 seconds!
