Help with Chapter 4.. The end..

I made it to the place where I meet up with an alien and 2 other rebels, a black guy, and a white guy, where they retrofit my jet ski with the rail gun..

But I can't get them to open up the door leading on, or do it myself..

I tried turning the valve they have at the right side, the one that doesn't move..

And I tried the one on the other side, the one you have to go over a bridge to get to.. It moves, but does nothing..

He finishes his refit, then the black guy says "There! Now you can... blah.. blah blah, it's cool how we can take the choppers down with their own guns, etc.."..

Then nothing else happens...

try doing the level over again from a different save point, it may be a glitch
