help with fans,seem to be going crazy

okok my alienware (6 months old) has started to play up. the fans seem to be makin alot of noise.

anyone got any idea what it good be?

Hopefully the fans aren't hitting a wire... I've had that happen a couple times... quite an unpleasant noise!

Have you ever cleaned your case? Get a can of compressed air and blast away the dust on the fans, it could be causing the fans to jam slightly and make noises

I have one PCI slot fan in particular.. its molding isn't quite right, so when I boot my computer up it grinds the slot fan case for about 2 minutes until it quiets down, I'm too lazy to fix it too

i just did that, all that i got from was a clean pc, altho i never opened it up, ill open it up and see whats going on in there. if i can see whats wrong with it,ill give alienware a call.

Yes, if you pay that much for a PC I would be on tech support 24/7.

seems to becomin from the front fans

open it up. make sure the fans aren't smacking into any cables. blow the compressed air at will, preferably outside your home.
