How can i make a pic from my digital camera small enough to fit as an attachment on a post.

open it in paint.. go scale/skew options.. then scale percent to like 50 in height and width and save it as type: jpeg

Or... if you have... acquired... Photoshop... it has a nice, handy 'save for web' feature. You'd prolly still need to resize it, though, 'cause digital camera pictures tend to be big.
