Help with Planescape: Torment

I'm at the last level of Planescape Torment, the Fortress of Regrets. But I have a slight problem. I took Hatred's Gift from Fhjull and now my character mindlessly attacks opponents. Which, if you've played the last level, is extremely detrimental when a sworm of shadow beasts try to attack and yer char is mindlessly fighting instead of fleeing. I try re-clicking on the portrait, but my char doesn't respond. Is there a way to remove the curse to equip another weapon, or somehow circumvent this? This is a real bummer because I have no saves outside of the Fortress (yep, stupid I know). If nothing else, is there a cheat to remove cursed items?

Oh...it's incredible. I just wish I could finish the damn thing. Could someone please help me?

I hate to double post...but is there anyone that can offer some advice other than starting the game over?

...Fortress of Regrets...? Hmmmm. That bit was a total bitch even without the curse, so I hate to think what it must be like for you.

There's no way back, right? I don't think you have any curse removing properties in the actual Fortress itself...

So, what you're trying to say is, I'm screwed, right?. Hey, you have a saved game I could use, preferablly at the start of the Fortress? That would be great! But I doubt I'd be that lucky....
