how will half-life 2 run on this??:

gateway flexcase bro essential 1100 (made in 2001)
1.2GHZ pentium 3 processor (maybe more Ghz)
windows xp home edition
382 mb of memory
plenty of disk space
ati radeon low-profile 9600se graphic card
(earthlink dsl for online play)

i know- not the best computer, im not rich like all of you guys... just need your opinions, pleez.

yes but for the sake of sanity upgrade you're RAM, the rest of you're system is actually quite decent. Also this belongs in the hardware forum.

you'll probably be able to play on medium settings.

Check the system requirements next time, please.

how much of a memory upgrade are we talking about? cuz if its like 256 mb, no problem.. bout $40 at compusa. but i will also need to run postal 2 and other games in the future, so how much memeory do you suggest? preferrably not being too expensive...

The more you can cram into your motherboard the better. Can never have too much as it loosens up resources because RAM is easier to access rather than the hard-disk where "overflow" is put. Thus there is the slowdown.

Half-Lifer, did you mean to put 128 or really 328?
