Story:Hereafter is a vampire mod using the hl2 engine which. Hereafter is set in new York city and develops as you finish missions and quests.You will be able to choose from a variety of powers. The story will develop through max-Payne like cutscenes.Now that we got that out of the way here's the story.

A night of partying has left you tired. As you walk out of the night club a vampire slayer is waiting for you and your friends, He shoots with his gun and kills 2 of your friends before he is killed. You have been gunned down and are barely alive.When a man picks you up and puts you in his limo.And then you blank out. When you wake up your in a huge room and all bandaged up. The man that saved your life is sitting by your side a conversation starts.

Man: oh,You woke up how are you feeling.
You: Pretty good.Who are you.
Man: You will find out soon enough.

the man gets up and walks near the window and looks out.

Man: do you know where you are.
You: no?
Man:your in my apartment (as he looks out at the moon)
You:what!?!how!
Man:I brought you here in my Limo. I need your help.
You: why should i help you?
Man:I helped you didn't i?
You:i guess so?
Man:You owe your life to me some might say(as he smiles toward you)
You: (You look at your chest and see a scar)what's this?
Man: Oh the doctors had to take the bullets out.
You: Why have you brought me here.
Man:this is where i need your help.
You:What kind of help?
Man:As you can see I'm also a vampire,i lead a clan called the revenant.We are a dieing breed there are few of us left.
You:So?
Man: (he glares at you)you know why where dieing?Ill tell you why another clan called wolf blood have been killing us off.i need you to kill them off(as he smiles)
You:how am i supposed to do that I'm just a mere vampire i got no powers?
Man:you do now i have put my blood into you you have all the powers that i have and the strength of an bull.
You:So why don't you kill them off
Man:i am old 400years to be exact i do not have the energy to do that.
You:Why me?Why not someone else?
Man:Because.....i made you!

Well you get the jest of it

Guns: the guns will be present day guns and some made up guns and will be posted as soon as concept are done.

Playable characters: playable characters will vary from creepy vampire to good looking vampire to slutty vampire you get the picture

Multi-player: might be a possibility but right now isn't.


levels: We are in early development so the story and amount of levels are still yet to be decided.


Job openings: though the mod is new we need a mod team.

Hmmmmm, I think the conversation is some what boring. You don't seem to leave anything open. Its hard to say really. But from that conversation there doesn't seem much mystery or thinking. It just seems like he has done something to you; you just seem to accept this. From the sound of it I would just treat it as another kill kill complete kill kill complete.

Its hard to say really. But in some ways it reminds me of how badly done The Matrix was LOL!

Vampires are always fun. But I have a thing for gargoyles. Gargoyles > Vampires. Put some flapping humanoid Ultima-esque gargoyles in, and all becomes right with the world.

...or not. Probably just better to visit the writing forums thing.
Ohh, an interesting twist would be to be just about to kill the clan-leader, only to realise that you've been serving the wrong team, and have brought the world one step closer to apocalypse - so you turn around, and hunt down your old master. Or something.

dont get me wrong im having more fun now then when i started the mod, making a story isent easy buisness.and trying to put in plot twists and other things are hard work but its all about the fun
