hey Dirt 2...

You thought the menu's were amazing? I kind of got tired going through them all. They look nice, but there just seems to be way too many and it makes thing a bit more complicated. As for the game itself, the graphics are insane and the gameplay is tons of fun. The demo even included some online play, which is a blast.

The only thing I disliked was the fact the cars feel so light and they are extremely touchy. You'll barely move the stick and the car turns 180 degrees. Makes the game lack some realism.

Holy crap at that time.

Best ive blasted through so far is 03:08.something. So I guess thats quite far off.

The demo (which is up now on xbl and psn europe) is pretty much what you expect.

Baja is my personally least enjoyable, but the trail blazer (a rally basically) is addicting. Just that one more second. Just one more time to get that corner right.

What Codemasters has done here is something pretty special. Having only played GRID, so I cant compare to Dirt, GRID's menu was the slickest and coolest menu ive ever used. The way it swooshes around to everything, you know what I mean if youve played it.

Dirt 2's blows GRID's menu out of the water. This is the slickest menu system ive ever seen in a videogame. We kind of take the menus for granted, but when youre in a driver's pen with fully animated backgrounds of crowds, helicopters, music playing like youre at some concert, cars racing past now and again, flags flapping, its COMPLETELY immersive and just SO beautiful.

Graphically its stunning.

God I cant wait for this game now. GRID was awesome. This looks to beat it.

ya hot lap time.... my best is only 3:06 so far

pretty much agree with everything you've stated here... especially the in-and-around trailer menu!
and the physics are faaar superior to those of the original DIRT; probably my biggest praise of the sequel
