Subject: tomorrow!

Hey gabe just telling you that i can't wait for tomorrow, by the way if you're dissapointed with gamespot's hl2 review don't worry they have always been bias toward pc games they have never even scored a pc game over a 9.5. HL2 is killing at gamerankings.com.

PS: I suspect you are getting alot of home calls, GS printed an article and said how you keep your home number listed.

I was wondering about that actually haha cool stuff... I can't believe you got anything out of him this close to release

Gamespot is not biased towards console games, they told it like it was for HL2 period. I found it to be a very unbiased review. Some people here can't stand the thought of HL2 having imperfections, so they go after the sterotypes someone made up for gamespot. And before anyone mentions halo 2 scoring higher, halo 2's score is based on it's attempt at being a console FPS, not a PC one so there's no direct comparison that can be made AT ALL.

hehe i was very pleased also when i recieved my email back from Gabe after just about 12 mins, good, good guy.

I have been a gamespot member for a few years and it is true that they are bias towards pc games, and it is true that they have never scored a pc game over a 9.5 and on an almost monthly basis score console games a 9.5+, i mean they rated the original deus ex an 8.2, which by many is a classic pc game.

Your missing the point

Gamespots review not only contradicted every other review out there, but they HUGELY contradicted them.

Also, 90% of that review is criticism, and 10% is *Meh, its ok but definately a game you should get!* It makes no sense at all

But i cant see how on earth you can say that when you havent played the game yourself. How do you know they told it like it is? and how do you know its unbiased? You might play the game and find that you disagree with everything they said....

I dont think the game will be perfect at all, so dont get me wrong on that but i think what your doing is exactly the same as evryone who's saying the game is perfect. No-one has played it and until they have there's no way to judge whether you agree with a review or not.

GameSpot is supposed to give universal ratings, without any contexts. They are just trying to appear fair and brave, and HL2 may not be revolutionary, but it is by any account better than Halo2.
Take innovation.
