Did anyone here actually think the second was a good film?

I predict the racist stereotypes shall target asians in #3.
 
on the positive side this will be another nail on Michael Bay's career as an untalented hack. future generations wuill study his films as a cautionary tale of what happens when a lot of money falls into the hands of untalented idiots
 
I hope he goes through with his Unicron plan. The movie won't look a THING like Fantastic 4 2. Too bad he already played the Matrix Of Leadership card, otherwise there might still have been hope for someone to be told they had The Touch.

Sadly it doesn't work that way. If that was the case, the second movie wouldn't have been made. Hell, if it worked that way no one would have let him ****ing near the franchise to begin with. But idiots will still go spend money to see this, no matter how much it sucks.

And for every one of us that doesn't go, Darkside will go 6 times, so we're ****ed either way.
 
I meant the studios. they forked over piles of cash to a hack because the brand alone will sell the movie. it's the perfect marriage of hack meets brand created by hacks to sell toys
 
wouldn't it be just better if they donated all the budget money to some African country.
i mean...the combined budget and earned money of all three films could probably buy us a moon base. instead we get robots pissing on people and beating themselves up. YAY FOR HUMANITY!!

the saddest part is people actually want movies like this.

Well the obvious plotline would be Unicron and using the sun-eater energon factory to destroy him (tying in with the Matrix being for destroying him).
 
I would love to see a beast wars version made,after all transformers fan hate that one isnt?
 
I liked beast wars but I was a very casual transformers fan though.

Anyway after the ****ing travesty that was transformers 2 do we really need this POS as well? I HATE you bay and I HATE you too hollywood :flame:

I only watched RoTF once. I didn't like it. Of course, this next one's supposed to have Unicron so...yeah you're probably fucked. I might singlehandedly fund the fourth movie.

There was dialogue in the second one. The dialogue between Megatron and Starscream was one of the only good things in the movie.
 
I'm not sure what's worse the news, Transformers 3: The death of cinematic narrative or the horrific discovery that Michael Bay has his own fan forum full of suck ups...............:|
 
An entire forum? That's the saddest thing I've ever heard.
 
Ironically, they need to get rid of the one reason we watch Transformers; Megan Fox.

She's completely talentless and a complete, unprofessional, whining bitch.

Completely lost any sex appeal to me now that I know what she's like. Yeah she's hot, but so what?

It might've been a good troll had you phrased it more like, "The only reason to watch Transformers is Megan Fox," which makes it sound as if Megan Fox is the only redeeming thing about the movies rather than the draw of the movies; stating that Megan Fox is the draw of a movie that promises giant robots beating the shit out of each other is far too obvious to even score a ranking on the troll scale.

I think he meant they concentrate on pimping her too much and if she was gone, they could have focused more on the stuff the nerds really care about.

Okay, the other thing nerds care about. Plot. Not that Michael Bay and plot mix very well...

If you remove the twins, Robot balls, Robot leg humping, robot fart jokes, that guy from Shias collage, the parents, the twins, robot heaven, WHY DIDN'T THEY USE THE ALLSPARK ON OPTIMUS LIKE THEY DID ON MEGATRON?!? The twins, the collage professor, the TWINS! God I hate them. I was so happy when Devastator sucked one of them in... Only to be sad when he climbed out of it's eye.

Keep the forrest fight. That was cool.
 
What still astounds me is how did the Transformers 2 script get approved? I mean who are we ****ing kidding here, and it grossed $800,000+. I shamefully contributed to that gross; I still wake up in a cold sweat of guilt at night.
 
This is a golden opportunity. If Micheal Bay can be convinced to perform as the voice of Unicron, THEN PERHAPS HE SHALL DIE AFTERWARDS, PULLED INTO THE DARK ABYSS OF THE BEYOND BY THE REVENGING GHOST OF ORSON WELLES. A THOUSAND MACHINES SHALL TEAR TINY CHASMS INTO HIS GENITALS IN THE AFTERLIFE, AND INTO EACH ONE SHALL BE PLACED A LEG-HUMPING ROBOT!

But honestly, I still hold some sliver of hope that Bay might do something awesome with Unicron.
 
Rizzo brought up a lot of good points. Forest fight, opening sidewinder battle (hyped to hell in the trailers and he was alive for the first three minutes of the movie), and Jetfire were the only really good things for me.
