Greg Coomer at ECTS doesn't really mean much, I suspect he was scheduled to go there months ago.

Although the other two things probably mean something is happening, although I suspect its just another HL2 preload thing.

Greg has not been at ECTS today, and Valve don't have a booth. ATi have a booth but it seems to be only for meetings - same with Microsoft.

It doesn't look as though Greg will be showcasing HL2 at ECTS, it's likely he's only here to see others showcase their technology, in case there's anything Valve may be able to make use of in the future.

Incidentally, I have personally play tested Resident Evil 4 for the Gamecube and if you like that kind of thing, you'll definitely be wanting to get it. It looks great.
 
Can someone please drag Chris_D away from the developers lounge PC's. He can't seem to stop posting at the forums even during the event :p

didn't recorgnise any of you lot :(

was stuck in darkened rooms for most of the day. went out for a fleeting moment to have a liquid lunch at the bar :p

spent the rest of the day wandering around aimlessly and gawping at the stalls.

spent most of the day in the Developers Area, i managed to weed myself out of going to all the boring stuff :p. did a few presentations, sneaked a peak at what others were showing off. very productive day :)
 
Ugh....no new info from Valve though, right? Ah well....Maybe they'll say something about something soon..

Yeah the other day took me 3 hours from North London to get to East London.
 
From getting on the train at London St Pancras, it took an hour and five minutes to get to Leicester :p

Yeah it was a good trip, but we won't have a great deal to show you guys unfortunately. We haven't really got much "front page" material but we'll probably show anything else in off topic or other relevant place on the forum.

1 hour, 30 minutes away :) Pretty much every train had delay after delay after delay so I had to get the express one down to Gatwick and then find a train there that went to a station I could get a train down to my town from.
 
Wow.... sounds confusing... Why didn't you take a buss or something?
