There are several of these rooms scattered throughout the game...didn't notice the makeshift "bed" though.

This particular room is easy to pass up considering

that it's reached through a vent in a caged area about halfway through the escape from testchamber 19 (the room with five pillars lifting towards the ceiling).

I thought I'd caught everything, but I did miss that 'bed'. The chair back suggests it could have belonged to an Aperture employee
(although I guess the rations kind of hint at that slightly too).
