Does anyone know how or what program to use to hide text inside a jpeg file? You know, so that when you open the .jpg with notepad, you can see the message in with all the jumbled meta data.

Nope, have you tried googling it yet?

I've been googling all day, posting in a forum is a last resort, trust me.

Try searching for programs, I know of Hider, CryptoBola JPEG, ImageHide, there are quite a few out there, just look around.

If you want to actually see the message in notepad/hex editor then Steganography is the wrong way to go about it.

Steganography is for hiding files into jpg's/html files and a few others without being able to tell, they are usually encrypted and require a passcode.

Try JPHIDE which i could only get to work in DOS,

The best program I know if isnt free but has a 15 day free trial Invisible Secrets 4

If you want to just be able to see text when you open in notepad, then get a hex editor like hex workshop and just type it in, in free space.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I got on the wrong track with that steganography stuff, I wanted to be able to view the text once you open the jpg with notepad. So yah, thanks again! Now I'm off to find a hex editor. :D
