Edit: This is fantastic, really well done I think, Alyx looks really good, but Mossman, I think she looks exactly right now, bags under the eyes, pale complexion, real stressed looking. :thumbs:

I posted before trying them. And well i just tried them, the alyx skin looks good but kinda looks like plastic and so does mossman. they look like porn stars.

yeah what the.. mossman looks like a new kind of zombie or something. The others are nice though. but they took out alyx's cool blemishes and skin deformities and made here look like a plastic model with fat lips.

Just used this and its a good improvement. only saw kleiner and alyx. Looks good, but alyx looks like she has two big catapillars above her eyes from certain angles, lol.

The second female citizen has a disproportioned fae, the third female citizen looks down right sick, Mossman looks like a junkie, Kleiner looks weird(er). Eli looks ok but Alyx looks... not like alyx.

To give them credit, the guys look good, the clothing/uniforms look realistic;
but it looks like they tried to "pretty up" the female faces.

They seem to be on the right track though.

I take back my previous statement. I open up the textures in Photoshop to do a side by side compare. They just upped the texture res for the guys, which looks alot better, but they Maxim'fied (aka extreme over use of the airbrush) the girls, and added whore paint. If they just upped the res for the girls, like they did for the guys then it would be much better.

thanks for those comparisons, i see what you mean. Still, with alyx anyway, it really does look like they've thrown some lube on her lips! Either that or she's just finished giving head (minus the bukakke).

Agree on the makeup and unrealistic. Look yuck imo, especially Alyx, I reckon that the maker had a hard on for Jessica Alba when he made the Alyx skin.

I just noticed that the new Alyx looks a tad like my mom.

Except with bigger lips, a ton of makup, and a lot whiter (and I mean ALLOT!).

I installed the Eli, Kleiner and Cubbage skins. Eli in those shots look good but in normal lighting conditions he seems to have a minor case of vitiligo on his face. The forehead and cheeks just have these white patches that don't go away, other than that it's fine. You shouldn't add highlights to skins, they should remain neutral since in a game there are going to be lights. I also didn't like the fact that they shaved off Cubbage's mustache, so I edited it back in. Though I haven't tested how it looks yet.
