Highway 17 oddity

I'm stuck at the rebel outpost where you have to shoot the first hoverjet down. When it respawns me the guy with the launcher just stands around and never gets to his speech.

I'll end up all that way back at ravensholm if I can't get the launcher.

What is up?

if you mean the guy (kinda speaks russian) he is holding the rocket launcher, go up to him and get it....

or if you defeat all of the hoverjets, then go back down to basement and listen to him.

I suppose it's not a programming bug...must be a feature.

I'll just go back and retry from ravenholm. I'm not going to cheat. That's the problem with CS too. Too many people who can't play straight and have to cheat their way through it. Thanks anyway.

In the console, type restart, and replay it from wherever the game puts you, the script should then be fixed.

I wouldn’t really consider it cheating if you just gave yourself the Rocket launcher that he was supposed to give you anyway… I mean… it’s not like you did something wrong. It’s a bug.

You could try the F6 - F9 trick, it worked for some people when Mossman wouldn't use the elevator, just keep saving and loading really fast and hopefully his script will kick in.
