Can barely wait for this game, but im worried that it'll be Shader Model 3.0 in this one, meaning my X800 won't make it look good. Anyone know's if it is?

can't wait either, been over at hitmanforum.com recently, bloody xbox already has two demos, lame, wheres the pc one, the reviews so far seem very positive, not groundbreaking but a solid installment in the franchise.

Don't bet on it. The Hitman games have never been about the graphics, and Blood Money's not changing this factor. It's pretty, but it's not going to start revolutions.

That said, I am TOO excited right now. I love me some Hitman :D

I'm pretty sure they use 3.0, but probably also 2.0\2.0b and 1.1.

why big stuffs comes in the middle of final exams ?!!

I'm hoping there will be a demo for the 360, and that is how I'll decide :)
I need to get a cheap wireless adapter for my 360. I will not be able to directly connect it.

Any ideas?

Shamrock: Sorry I need to run and drop someone off somewhere, but after a quick google search, I came up with this video.

http://reviews.cnet.com/Wireless_network_adaptors_and_Xbox_360/4660-10621_7-6395680.html

Note it's from the holidays in 2005, so I suggest checking out xbox-scene.com, teamxbox, and the forums at those places to see if you can find a third-party wireless adaptor that "works"... I think Microsoft is the only one making them right now officially.

I can't wait, I'll probably end up getting it for the 360 for maxed out glory but I'll try a PC demo before I buy it, hopefully the demo will be out before the game..
Also, from what I've heard, the release date is the 30th in North America, and the 26th here in Europe, so for all you amerikanskis, ha-ha!:p

Looking forward to blasting people with the silenced ballers yet again :sniper:

Bah, it's the tutorial level. It's completely linear.

FFS..
Aren't demos supposed to give you the best impression possible of the game?
A linear Hitman level does not do the Hitman games justice!
Christ.:\
Oh well..

NOES!!!!!!!!!!:x ah well i've to start work next week so i probly wont get much time to try the demo *sobs*

Err, wasn't the Hitman Contracts demo the one with the arctic outpost with russians rather than the first mission in the huge building with all the nutcases?:p

The beginning

Just kind of twisted

Syringe behind the back (When you're close to people 47 holds his weapon behind his back - nice touch)

Dispose of bodies :p

That's Doctor 47 to you

The Hideout

Some of the weapon placeholders

Notice the spots open for upgrades :) (barrel extensions, silencers, etc)

Bit from mission 2 :O

Still can't wait to pick this one up even if I have it now.

Get it now, if you don`t like the game then you can save yourself some money :D

I`ve nearly got it, hope it`s better than the previous games, the controls for them were always so unfriendly and clunky.

Geez--that looks much better than I thought it would. I don't care if its linear, it will be nice to get some sort of idea of the gameplay from the demo.

you see, I only buy games with massive/popular multiplayer such as HL2/CSS, BF2, UT04/07, ET:QW..etc, + any single player game which scored over 9.2 @ gamespot rating system such as ES4, Riddick, FEAR,..etc.

if this game scores more than the above rating, I'll be glad to give my £30 to Eidos :D

And all the other games that aren't multiplayer and didn't score over 9.2 on GameSpots rating system?
You download'em and play'em through without giving anything back to the original developers?
Ah, I just love greedy cheapskates!:|

But whatever, no-one's perfect, not even *gasp* me, I just don't like it when people 'steal' other peoples work(notice the ' 's on steal, I know it's not directly theft) without giving anything back to'em.:)

I really can't disagree with you.

Anyway: I played 3 mins of the first level and its really excellent looking game,

Graphics = 9 out of 10
Sound = 9 out of 10

I'll give you the rest of the review once I finish at least 2 levels,

So far the game kicks ass. I've done 3 missions so far and I think I could probably say this will definitely be the best Hitman yet.

There's much more of an incentive to play stealthily this time around. There's a notoriety factor in the game. The more violent you are with people OTHER than your target the higher it gets and the more heat is on you. The more noise you make (more alerts you set off) the higher it goes etc. You can blow some of the $$$$$ you get on missions to bribe various people or get a new identity if need be or else I'd imagine you'd find it hard to continue on stealthily in other missions.

As I mentioned there's $$$$$ awarded for your missions. You get the base amount of money for completing, more with a good rating, and you'll get some taken away when you cause too much dmg or to retrieve your suit (if you leave the mission in disguise).

You can use the money to bribe people like I said to lower notoriety or you can buy upgrades. I've only been using the Hardballer so far (I'm trying to go as stealth as possible) and I see 13 possible upgrades to it. The first 2 are available to me. One are lower velocity rounds which will not work with any other ammo you may pick up or have. They are more quiet than a normal shot. The 2nd upgrade is a standard silencer. If you use this it says you cannot use a long slide upgrade or the other type of silencer. So obviously the upgrade system is semi-realistic and isn't just Improve Damage, Firing Speed, Ammo Capacity, Reload Speed, etc.

I just have a couple screens to update with.

Pretty waterfall

After each mission you get the paper, the article is actually unique to what and how you actually killed the target(s) which I found to be a nice touch.

So far IO has been true to their word, no major fortress incursions or anything. Just cool levels to do hits on with multiple ways of intrusion and killing your marks.

Boner-rific!

I've been kind of bored with Oblivion lately and I just ordered Sin Episodes last night. Now I will pick this game up as well.

I'm on the opera mission and I'm totally stuck, can someone tell me where to put the real WW1 pistol so the guy uses it?

guys, do you know how to use the action key on the key card, ?
