HL design process post-mortem

Since we dont have anything stickied here, this one might as well be the first :)
Its a very good read, especially for modders since its explains the concept of creating a game, and gives advise.
 
Yeah, I've seen that, the movies are hilarious... The SMG... I wonder what they where thinking :p

I like it. It gave us have some partial knowledge of what the company did to make Half-Life the way it was.
 
Cheers :). A nice read. I wonder what the origonal was like tho, it would be interesting to play just to see how bad the bad parts were and how good the good parts were.
 
I like it. The post-mortem gave me a lot of information about how to work on my mod, and the nostalgia project gave me some laughs.

a good article and shows that things can work out great in the end...Like the 'cabal' idea also...Nice post
