HL sound effects for use in a short film.

Thought id post this here as it doesnt really fit anywhere in particular, i think.

Ive completed the filming of a short war film and was wondering if I can legally use the sound files of HL2. This is a non budget/no profit etc project.


Any help would be appreciated.

This isn't set in stone, but there are many people who do use the sounds successfully without issue under the following criteria:

1. You credit Valve Software for their sounds, from the game Half-life 2.
2. The short film isn't to be sold.

Yes absolutely, ensure you state the name of both games in the credits.
