HL1 Gonarch's Lair big problem

hey guys,

i just need help with gonarchs lair. you see after she runs away from the second area (the one with the big hole in the middle) she jumps down into that small passage way. The problem is that when she jumps down she just stays there instead of running down into the next area like ive seen in all of the video walktrhoughs and stuff. So, any ideas or help?

Do you have a save that is before this map?
Have you tried Verifying GCF Cache Files?
