Hl2 addons, what will it be?

i think the first addon would probably be with shepard, maybe he will be the leader of a big army and fight a war against the combine with vehicles and new weapons and stuff (that would be cool)

maybe another addon with an assassin in black (a girl, to change a little ^^ ) i think a lot of people expected an assassin addon for halflife but it never came, but i think the source engine is much better to make an covert ops thing where you have to hide and kill silently, maybe use some rope to get on roofs or spy like devices

what do you think?

I think a Op4 style TC for HL2 could be kinda cool.. maybe instead of during the same events as in the original game it could be used to tell the story of what was happening in the years after HL1 and before HL2

And yeah, I always wondered why they never did a black ops version. I'm even more surprised no fans tried to do a decent one when it was obvious none were going to appear. Though I suppose some could say Counter Strike was kinda the black ops version and another would be over kill or something. Woulda been nice to have though

You were probably joking, but can you imagine how pissed the thief will be if Valve go on to make a profit out of what he did and he gets naff all and has to hear about how well their doing cashing in on his actions and the second he tries to do anything about it he just exposes himself and gets caught. That could be really cool punishment. Especially if Vivaldi ended up making a hollywood film of it, and everyone got credit except him, completely ruining any credability he may have had with his "buddies" Valve makes millions, the thief gets caught when he tries to claw back some of it (probably stupid enough to try sue Valve, only to find he has to prove what he did to have a chance, and is promptly arrested for that before his case can continue) Valve get rich, thief gets a new boyfriend in prison, we get HL2 and a film and get to point and laugh at the thief and everyone but him is happy

Now theres a good idea.....
I want an addon that more exaggerates the team-based elements of opfor. Remember how cool it was running around with a squad of fellow marines? Or a multiplayer mod...class based, marines v aliens. Marines get troopers, assassins, engineers and medics and the aliens get big grunts, slaves, and headcrabs, who start off shit but can take people over. Fun!
