You know, I've never understood the whole "morbidly obese" thing. My philosophy on weight loss is simple... if it ever gets to the point where I can no longer see my feet, or my wang... I'll lose weight or eat a bullet. hehe.

It's not suprising, especially in L.A. I mean, if i ever joined a gang, i definatly wouldn't put games aside.

This article was more of a warning so parents are aware it could happen, and kids are aware that acting like a jackass could get you killed.

So kids, stop with the racial comments! You never know who could be playing right next to you.

Actually, I think that one was not accepted by the courts. Last I heard, the lawyers were on their third attempt. This time accusing McD's of inappropriately listing the nutritional contents.

Sounds like someone is intend on getting a few millions the easy way!!

Ditto it was the "Hot coffee" lady that won. And it was not as "cut and dry" as we were led to believe.

Apparently she had "suggested" on several occasions for McDs to do something about it after she had spilled it. You know like putting warnings etc. They scoffed at her. She sued.
 
We winced. I always wanted to beat her with a large, alloy baseball bat clearly labelled "Don't try and knock your cranium against this blunt utensil, as it many cause internal bleeding".

It's interesting because before games, TV was under media fire (as in newspapers... like to see them do a sensationalist anti-TV tirade on television) and before that it was art. Radio, oddly enough, never really caused controversy. Must have been too simple and homely.

It'd be fascinating to see if gaming is ever properly accepted, cast aside in favour of a new taboo, like cheap personal genetic enhancements or bionic replacement limbs. Hint hint!

Then I can sue her for being fat and scaring my children when I visit that particular restaurant! I don't have any kids, but I'm sure I can briefly abduct some and then use the proceeds of a insanely successful compensation scheme to pay for their silence ten times over.

Urrgh. Scapegoatism is one of the many things that drives me mad. If only we could wipe out half the population, it might improve things.
