hl2 crashing =/ ill be the first =D

mine keeps crashing just as u take control of freeman on the train =/ its the same error i used to get with CS:S until they patch it somthing about it couldnt use memory or somthing memory error =/

im using a 6800 GT 256DDR anyone else getting this problem ?

my hl2 also crashes i have an p4 with 3ghz and 1024mb ram and an nvidia 6800.

all other games run nice.

i can start hl2 when the evel its loading it crashes back to desktop something with memory at number xxxx xxxx and that was it.

Oh dear, 6 years in the making and it still has problems like this!!

I don't get my retail box for a few days yet, which may not be a bad thing, cos looks like hl2 needs a patch already!!!

I have a nvidia 6800 card too so i'm abit worried cos doesn't hl2 favour ati cards?
