sorry to bump but my best friend is at college and he cant play hl2mp with me cause of this error :( now he's pissed and is try'n to sell his hl2 shit.. we play'd so much cs back in the day i hate to see this happen, anyone found a fix? i think its his dorm connection. he said they block other things too

I have not seen this one, although I do not claim to have seen everything. Does this occur on a particular server or any server?

well its weird, we'll be play'n and its fine for some time, then if someone joins he sometimes gets disconnected with that error, but if two people join allmost at the same time he allways gets disconnected with that error. he has given up for the most part now :( think he allready uninstalled it and everything

me and daegon just bought a server from funservers.com; and it randomly kick people with this error: Disconnect: ProcessUsercmds: Incorrect reading frame (check sending and receiving code for mismatches)!

dunno whats up. I emailed tech support, but they havent replied yet.

this is a counterstrike:source server though.

i know

I fixed the problem, it has to do with the Firmware on Linksys routers that has some issue running with Steam, if you roll back the firmware to i believe #1459 then it should run smoothly, i don't have the driver infront of me to confirm it, but it is definitely that problem, just roll back the firmware till you find the right one, hope it works for everyone that has this problem.
