Hello everyone, I am looking for some help with getting my HL2: DM server up and running.
And before anyone says it, no, I am not some n00b trying to run it from my home PC.
I have a dedicated box for this.
Anyways, my problem is a little strange.
I have the server running through FireDaemon Pro..
This is the parameters I have added to the "shortcut":
Now, my problem is when I try to start the server, it stops after it sets the IP and port.
It also doesn't set the maxplayers correctly.
I have tried connecting to it multiple times, as well as using the steam server browser to see if it will give me the correct information.
As far as blaming config files, I know they are correct as I have ran it in GUI mode to see if I had set them up correctly.
Here is an image of where the console stops:
Any help with this is greatly appreciated.
If I have posted this in the wrong forum, mods, please place it where it belongs.
P.S.: I didn't post this at the steam forums because most of the regulars there aren't too bright anyways. The average I.Q. here seemed to be much higher.
