HL2 expansion pack due next year

i don't think they did but if we follow logic it would be pretty moronic for valve not to publish an/some expansion(s). i mean, it's guaranteed dollars. i mean what person who has played HL2 wouldn't be interested in it's expansion?

i can't quite remember where i read it, but Gabe did say Gearbox would no longer work on any HL series related material.
honestly i think thats a good thing...who better than Valve to work on the expansion?

while Opposing Force and BlueShift were good, i think Valve will take a HL2 expansion to new heights if they did the work on it themselves.
oh and btw, nobody from Valve as replied to my email about Adrian Shepherd character IP rights.. :|
i hope Valve has the rights to this character.

Since the planethalf-life section of hasn't been updated in like a year you take the info how you want it, but on the Planet HL2(when you just click HL2 on the left corner it does say this:

"Valve is apparently already working on a Half-Life 2 expansion pack."

Since it hasn't been updated in a while take it how u want it.
