HL2 Gold Tuesday? DO NOT EVEN ATTEMPT TO FLAME

i think it means that on tuesday they are goi to announce that hl2 will be released september 30th 2005 and the part where he talks about us enjoying a lot more on tuesday means that we will be happy because we will be destroying valve headquarters... lol just kidding, that would be cool if hl2 was gold this week

This is patently false because I know HL2 is going gold this monday. At least that's what the voice in my head told me.

Cool, Gooseman's also in the game! He's done most of the work on Counter-strike, from beta 1 to retail. I'm sure he's working on Counter-strike 2 in secret now.

I'd presume his steamid is lower then 95..like, 1-10 heh.
 
I'm guessing at a release sometime in November, not necessarily late November, but November sometime. Anyone else think the same?

I was just in Cs_office with some guys with the name Gabe Newell [VALVe] Software and he was talking about how he like hot dogs and ice cream. I must have been him
 
I seriously doubt that Valve is playing online if they are working in HL2

why would the real cliff just join randowm servers and say this when he could easily say it on a forum or something , but i hope u r right , i would love a nice patch for cs:s that will give us some more maps like assault , miltia , and of course the models
 
if someone ever claims to be a Valve employee, all you have to do is type 'status' in the console and check to see if their STEAMID is very very low

I agree completely. I don't know why I get so annoyed when I see these people fall for these threads hehe. It has only been happening for over a year now.
 
I was on a server on Italy a few days ago and someone claiming to be a Valve employee asked the players a few questions about hostage behavior & our opinions on player/weapon models. They also said that in a couple days they'd be releasing new maps.
If this does prove true, the other things that this person said may also be worth considering:
He said that they were planning on making hostages be able to move objects, to block/unblock players' routes.
He also claimed that HL2 was going to go gold between Nov 10-20.

I did "status" him, his steam id was Steam_0:1:1754504. Do all Valve employees definitely have low steam ids? Maybe he was an intern or something. :-/

(I understand you're just passing along what happened to you, it just disturbs me that you'll get everyone excited for, probably, nothing).
