HL2 in an different "Reality" of the original hl? posible Spoils

I just got this idea:

Gordon might of got teleported to a paralell dimension during his stasis. He is not aware of this yet. BM (black mesa) and the rest of the world might have blown up in his original "reality", so Gman took him to this "alternate reality called HL2. This might also happen in HL3 because of the citidel.

They did. Black Mesa was nuked in Opposing Force. Why does this necessitate transfering Gordon to a new dimension? HL2 takes place half way around the world many years in the future... just... why?

Doesn't Occam's Razor basically state this? That one should never increase the number of entities required to explain something?

Anyway, I agree with most of the posters here, that's just over-theorizing (if such a thing can exist).
