When is the 1st Unofficial HL2 mod going to be released, e.g. Mods like Dawn Of The Dead etc etc ??

Since no one but the developers know, I would advise visiting the webpages and simply ask.

But most will probably say, "when its ready"

Well, he was asking about the mods, not a technical question. More reason to have a mods forum (cough munneh)

Anyway, as one of those mod developers, when we're ready to release it. At least for my mod, we're doing it for fun. We're not setting harsh time limits and such, because that isn't fun. Most people in the mod have a career that does that for them; this is a fun side project.

Mine is certianly going to take a number of months, probably around 9 or so, you'll see a lot of single map missions (like antlion troopers for example) and such bouncing around as well as minor code modifications, but the big hitters are gunna take a while,

These sorts of messages should be sent by PM, sorta Hyjacking the thread.

As to when mods are gunna be released, i would give it untill ATLEAST July next year.

Making maps, modeling, coding, bla bla bla... all so time consuming, and as most people on a mod team have jobs, it takes even longer.
