I just had this idea a few minutes ago while looking at my school's organizer. The cover of the organizer is a picture of a black board (well, actually green) and it has a whole bunch of simple, little pictures on it (like a smiley face, a space ship, a robot), and I thought it was pretty cool. Then I figured that there are some talented people on HL2.net, so why not make a HL2.net version?
Here is what you do - Take the picture I link to later in this post, and draw a small picture on it. It could be anything, you could draw a cartoon-like Godzilla, or a little stick man, or some kind of HL2.net thing, like Munro in his control tower or something like that. If you want, you can even sign your name.
Some rules:
1) Don't f*ck around, please. Don't draw a stupidly huge picture or write your name a hundred times on the page or anything like that.
2) Keep within the rules of the HL2.net forum.
3) Don't be a dick, don't scribble out other people's names/pictures, or don't write "is gay" under someone else's signature/name.
4) Pen, Pencil, Marker, Photoshop/MSPaint only. Colour is aloud. (Pen/Pencil/Marker requires you to have a scanner, obviously, to put it back on the computer after you've printed, drawn, and submitted it)
5) KEEP IT IN .PNG FORMAT. We need to keep it small in size, but still have some quality (ugly jpeg).
6) If you need to, you may resize the picture (like if there is no room), but keep within the rules.
7) Keep it clean! Don't draw dicks all over the page or anything like that. (no goatse!)
If you want, you can do it in paint. Preferable not, however, as it'll look weird while comparing it to pencil/pen/marker drawings elsewhere on the page. Although, it's be ok if you do it in Photoshop and blur your drawing a bit (if you do it MS Paint-style)
Again, keep in mind that these are supposed to be little 5-minute doodles, not full blown 3-week paintings or whatever.
I'll start it off here:
The Pic
Looking forward to seeing how this turns out.
Hopefully it'll end up in a gigantic 3000x3000 pixel picture (or some kind of huge picture like that )
And yes, draw as many pictures as you like (as long as you follow the rules!)
When you've added you contribution(s), just post the updated pic, and people can edit it from there, then do the same.
