HL2.net London Meet Up.

So, I'm going around Europe for three months from August till November, I thought while I'm there it would be horrid to pass up a chance to finally put a few faces to names around here. Although I fly into London in August, I'll be leaving for Scotland the next day, however I'll be spending my last week before flying back to Australia in London.

Seeing that a weekend would suit more people than not, how about the Friday the 18th or Saturday 19th of November ?

I was thinking of a few pints in a pub, or something of the like. Any ideas?

As for pubs - just not a ****ing Wetherspoons. Goddamn meet ups of internet communities always seem to occur in those godawful places. Bugger that. I'm sure Glenn or some other Londoner could suggest some good spots.

Also you should organise some more localised micro-meet ups as you travel

I can't make it in November but I'll be spending a few weeks in London in late December / early January for the holidays (my dad's girlfriend lives in London) and I was going to propose a small meet up / drinking session sometime then
