You'll probably have to review people's 'qualifications' and make a decision. Maybe edit your first post to include the current selection for each class, so it can be tracked easily by everyone, and so people know which positions are yet available? Highlander appears to be an ace pyro, and Cyberpitz has a reputation for being a skilled heavy.

Hmm. Maybe I'm not as rusty as I thought. Just broke my kills-in-one-life record as scout with 18.

I think I should be Captain, since it is my idea.

And remember people, we don't want 'Your best class' we want, 'Your best class that your best at more than everyone else here'

We want the best.

If you want to, then do tryouts or some kind of observed mock-tournament. That's the only way you'll really find anything.

And I still want scout. Scouts are hard to come by, and I'm pretty sure I'm near the top.

How 'bout tomorrow? Name a server and a time, and we'll meet up. Can whoever's running the HL2 TF2 server set the map rotation up with whatever maps fit the bill above? I think it'll be a bigger challenge to get two or more members on the same server than to sweat the distinct map selections now. If we all wind up in the server, we can hash out the map details then.

Ok, let's try this - everyone who's down for tryouts, be on Steam this Sunday, say 10a Pacific time (2p London time, for example). We can meet in Steam chat and pick a server from there.

Instead of just a random post saying a date mate; somebody like a mod or whomever could post the organisted time and date in the NEWS section or on the front page.

That way, it's given better publicity to other forums and a greater appeal to applicants within our community.

However 10am pacific time is a good time. Better organisation is needed.

I'm asking Pi if we can use his new server he hosts. If he lets us use I say 2pm GMT, that way its good for most time zones. This won't be the official match but a way to find out who is good enough to be chosen.
