HL2 order delayed on ebgames

Just got an email from ebgames saying the shipping date has been changed because the first one wasn't confirmed yet, so I was just wondering if there has been any new news from valve on the ship date and/or where you guys pre-ordered so in case ebgames keeps that date and hl is released on time, I could get it from there. Thanks.

I saw that too. Going to cancel my pre-order. Valve & Vivendi can shove Half-Life 2 up their collective asses. Now, its Nov 1st. On Oct 27th it'll be next year. This Bull**** is getting to be too much to handle.

Sellers are pulling dates out of their asses, because there has been NO confirmed date for Half-Life's release. All we ever get now is a timeframe in which it might be released.

Retailers don't know anymore than we do, and are guessing.
