well...personally ive paid my pre-order copy of hl2, so i decided that its fine and legit to download the leak, so i did, the game runs fine, knowing that i will be gettin a full system upgrade in a few weeks makes me more and more joyfull.

here's the truth:

1.) A beta version has been stolen
2.) the beta is 100% real playable version of hl2.
3.) the beta confirms the game is no where near done.
4.) the reason for the delay? see #3

true...but the dlls are dated round about sept 27 exe as well.

the version was stolen around the time the game should have gone gold. Unless it was an older build it probably reflects the current state of the game.

Looking at some of the "other" screens I happen to notice the words E3_Techdemos.LikeThemApples

So what does that mean? I got no clue just something that caught my eye.

Please edit this if it is a violation of the TOS. I do not believe it is, and has probably been covered and I will get flamed but I got a few things going on and cant keep up with ALL these threads.....hey at least I did not start a new thread!!!

I just had a close look to those supposed shots and i feel they are fake. I just think some jokers made quik HL 1 levels with good hl1 format rebuild of some models and added some incrustations coming from the original screenshots and high def movies.

I'm a modder for HL1 since the beginning and i tell you i could do the same in one or two days.

Maybe i'm wrong, but i doubt!!

I too have preordered it, and I have the beta, i dont feel shame at all, i have already given valve my money, so who cares. to all those who say : "I'm gonna wait until april." Good for you, I wish I had that much patience, but hey, who's the one playing hl2 between posts?

my suspense was really high hearing that half-life 2 was supposed to come out. now i hear that it may be delayed 4 months. what a mind-job. so YUP... 66% done, confirmed to work RARs.......
