HL2 preload trouble

Does anyone have the same problem as I do? Could be the problem, that I'm connected on the internet through router?

Try pressing spacebar with the window active.

I re-downloaded the steam client, and now it works for me.

Yes, I reinstalled it too and it's OK again.
