HL2 SKUs

Apolgies if this has been answered before, but I'm interested to know if the number of SKUs for HL2 has been confirmed yet.

I've recently seen three different packshots, each featuring either Gordon, Alyx or G-Man. I've also heard talk about there being a Limited Edition version of HL2 and of course the Steam Release.

So that brings the current assumed total upto 5.

Anyone capable of clearing this us?

That's the info on the different types. I don't know how the different box designs fit into it all.

Theres the sp-only version, the normal version, the steam version, and the collectors edition.

then i think they're still throwing around different case designs... i've seen valve photos with 12 or more boxes on a shelf that they're considering.

I think they have pretty much finalized the box-art for the standard edition.

Aye, the extra case fronts are all for the same regular retail package (sp+mp). It's just so you can collect them or choose a particular one if you wish.

That's what I was about to post! that has always been my favorite screen, I must have used it on a dozen graphics for my site.

That's not a case cover, that's the inside of the box. You can see the rest of the picture on the other side of the box design. it's on both the Gordon and Alyx designs.

EDIT: As far as I know, this has not be finalized or completely confirmed that it will look exactly like that, but its a good bet it won't change.
