It all began with the Climate Controller. The Combine installed it in hopes of controlling Earth's climate for future use. But things went awry, not expecting the chaotic nature of Earth's weather patterns, the Controller
caused parts of the planet to be scorched into bone-dry deserts while plunging others into an endless winter. But in some places the Controller worked, keeping places at a steady temperature and keeping storm systems away, such as City 17.
Half-Life 2:Subvertus is a mod based in frozen wastelands of Europe. You start off in the boots of John Hayes , a ordinary rebel stationed in an outpost deep inside the frozen wastelands. You wake up and begin your
day. Getting orders to ambush a Combine patrol, you prepare to head out, but that plan comes to an end quickly...

WIP work! We are always improving our work.
We need at least one (perferably 2) coders to work on our mod.
Any previous expierence working on an other 'source' mod would be a plus.
Prefered use of Visual C++ .NET 2003.
Your "work" would exist out
* a few weapons (regular bullet based and some more "exotic weapon )
* 3 npc's (snowscout/'sniffer'/'snowbeast')
* a multipassenger vehicle
* a new hud
* fixing up the HL2 DLL with the one from Lost Coast
so we are able to use HDR (needs C++ knowledge) unless HDR gets supported in the future...
* movement adjustments as head bopping
* a particle system for snow
* footprints where the npc's/player walked in the snow
* motion blur
* maybe other stuff in time
I know this all isn't possible by one coder, but anyone who is capable of doing one of the above mentioned stuff is more then welcome
Any content used in the mod will be given credit for, even if you decide not to keep working for us...
This will be a short but sweet mod. This is one thats not going to die, even if I have to do it alone ... We are currently on hold till we get rid of school/highschool exams (yes, most members are students)
Everyone gets to tell his opinion and puts his own part in the mod.
Our team currently excists out
* 2 leaders
* 3 mappers
* 1 modeler (+ one freelance weapon modeler)
* 3 concept artists
* 1 texture artists
* 1 sounddesigner (more on stand-by)
* and we are desperate to find a coder ... maybe you?

We are also looking for members in the areas of modeling/skinning/texture creation.
