HL2 supports GeForce2MX?

Just wonder, can HL2 runs on a card like GeForce2MX...

I really hope it cans...

as i had no money to buy new computer!

Saving money to buy Half Life 2 Originals...

It probably will run, but why the hell would you want to turn all the details down in order to get a decent framerate? Start saving for a new video card now. By the time it comes out there'll be something cheap and powerful enough to satisfy all your DirectX9 needs.

Whatever you do though, make sure the game is OUT before deciding to buy anything or you'll fall into the trap that many of us did.

Well in my country it is not cheap.. and some more i am a student

i am saving for half life 2 originals..

and if i really buy a dirext9 card, i don't think my processor can support it..

P3 733 MHz.. if want to change everyting, expensive..

Thanks... so if i use geforce2mx, those water effects i can't see anymore?

If yes, yikes.. i can't enjoy my game..

I think you're out of luck. The hardware to produce things like the water effect just isn't there in a GF2, let alone an MX.

The truth is that HL2 on your computer will most probably look more like HL1.

That doesn't mean you won't be able to enjoy it though.

Chuawenching: I know you're new and all, but please do a quick search before you post. It will help both you and the moderators (so they don't have to do so much cleaning)

and to answer your question: Yes, it will run on your card. It won't run very smooth, but it will indeed run. I myself bought a R9600Pro, just for the sake of HL2
