I'm starting to believe creating mods with certain things in them won't be as easy as everyone thinks.

Think about it, if it were easy, why wouldn't Valve just create an HL2 DM Multiplayer?

It takes time an effort. It might be "easy" but that's only relatively. They didn't want to put effort into a dieing genre of multiplayer. Balancing, map making, and such takes time they didn't want to spend

It was confirmed in an interview with Gabe that there would be more than 2 vehicles (the one's featured). Can't remember where I read it, but I'm 100% positive.
