HL2 - Water Hazard - I'm stuck

Made a mistake and left the boat several save points ago, been and opened the gate where the chopper comes and hovers before running through the tunnel containing the toxic waste. Now stuck approaching another broken up tunnel, can I get back or am I'm stuffed.

You should be able to use cheats to either proceed further into the game or go back to find the boat (not sure if you can though). If you don't want to do this you can always just start the chapter again (through new game).

activate the developer console in advanced controls
return to the game press `tilde for the console
type in sv_cheats 1
type in give boat or impulse83

Well I guess we have to go back and get that boat, won't we? But don't cheat man it spoils the game. If you re-track your steps all of the previous check-points will reload again and you can find your boat like that or like the other gentleman said find your boat through your saved points.

Agreed. Just start the chapter over. You have to experience the game the way its meant to be played.
