HL2 - Water Hazard Level Partially Missing?

Hi Guys,

Been a fan of Valve games since I became engrossed in the original Half-Life all those years ago. I was hoping to replay through HL2 this week and all started well only for me to come across a rather large issue about an hour or two into the game, everything up until then was flawless. Please see screenshots below. I have tried the latest nVidia drivers, and have tried deleting all the HL2 content and redownload it only for the same issue to happen. Any ideas?

Wait a minute, you've downloaded the game??
That means the game was with errors and some missing information, or some problems due the process of the downloading.
I highly suggest you that you must install the game from CD (in original version).

Don't listen to Freeman. Try verifying your game cache in steam:
Right click Half-life 2, select 'properties', then go to the 'Local Files' tab, then select 'Verify Integrity of Game Cache'.
That should fix it.

Thanks, did that and started a new game from the beginning of Water Hazard and it was resolved!

The problem is in the 6th screenshot onward - the little ramp section which you have to drop a fridge to set up is missing. Seeing it made me go 'buh?', then lol.
