HL2 Year?

I read from the pic:
Emili 20"eye"06x SU?X?

So i would think the game is around 3-10 years after 2006.
Or one of the dev's has a daughter that was born in 2006.

I'd say HL2 takes place at least 18 years after HL1.

Alyx was a baby at the time of Black Mesa. She has to be at least 18 years old in the game. I'd wager closer to 22 - 24.

she wasnt a baby, she looked to be about 6-9, so i'd sayits about 10 years after.... (and according to the calander in black mesa, it was 1999, so hl2 takes place in 2019)

considering gordon has been in stasis this whole time it's like gordon hasn't aged at all. so it's not that weird

I thought at the beginning of the game they said it took place approximately 10 years after the Black Mesa accident..

Alyx is a Baby in Eli's family photo. Doesn't mean she was a Baby when HL1 happened. In fact, she remarks "But you probably don't remember me" to Gordon at the beginning of the game, which suggests she was old enough to remember Gordon (perhaps she even had a crush on him ^^)

The "official" date was always "10 years since HL1". I think this is said in various interviews and possibly in some of the RtB material as well.

That's pretty unintelligible, plus the graffiti could predate the Combine invasion. I for one wouldn't want to be caught spraycanning a train when the CPs turn up ^^

Eli didn't age THAT much...Look at the pic and look at him, sure hes become grayer and a few hairs fell out but he isn't 20 years older...More like 10.
