HL2DM released too soon

Wow, already looks like it wasn't even tested. People can't even start HL2 anymore. Cool, just the update I was looking for.

give it 20 minutes, steam has been having troubles after every big update since it was released. Jeeeeezzeeee, and no, it wasnt too soon.

I would think that the problems would be more due to the "various tweaks and fixes" for the engine that were released in the same update, not the new MP itself.

so many people are downloading it that the servers are likey sending bad data somehow.

Well we are happy, we are just unhappy that we can't join and be a noob like everyone else

Congratz, now you can't even play HL2 or CS. But you can play that 2D game still!

You know with the statistics they have you'd think they'd plan better for releases, even little(read: BIG) patches like this. Obviously their tech can't handle it.

couldn't they do it the old fashioned way .. just put up a exe or rar on the site for download, like all the other game companies do for patches etc.
